While Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot singled out a nosedive in the DS market as a significant contributor to his company’s poor Q2 performance, he didn’t condemn the growing casual gaming space or his company’s increasing reliance on it. Where the DS software market is falling – Guillemot pointed to Ubi’s consistent market share in Europe, despite a drop in revenue – other casual opportunities are growing. “The DS is declining quickly, but the Wii is taking off quite fast,” Guillemot said. “That’s why the average margin remains around 20%.” So, while DS software sales dipped, Wii software was there to make up the difference.

Sony Ericsson is planning to enter in the arena of gaming mobile phones. Sony Ericsson will unveil its first gaming phone at the Mobility World Congress.

The Mobile Entertainment stated that Sony Ecrisson will introduce a gaming phone in February, featured with games-oriented user interface and motion sensitivity, which allows users to play a game like Wii on their handsets. There is a feverish speculation that Sony is working on a PlayStation-branded phone.

Now, mobile phones are taking duties of digital camera, MP3 player but still gaming is dominated by handhelds like Sony PSP and Nintendo DS. Firstly, Nokia was the one who attempted the first to integrate gaming into its phones with the N-gage. Nokia is bringing another device in this November but this time Nokia is focusing on software rather than hardware

This gaming PC features Intel’s latest technology called Core i7 processor which has been integrated with X58 Express chipset, allowing this computer to provide impressive performance speed.

Intel’s Core i7 has been designed to allow ROG CG6190 to perform twice as faster compared to Quad Core platform. With this technology’s impressive performance, 3D graphics (which have becoming more popular nowadays) can be supported by this desktop.

Another impressive feature of this device is the built-in biometric fingerprint scanner. With this technology, users should no longer worry about forgetting their passwords since the computer can be accessed by simply pressing one’s finger on the scanner.

Rumors of 40nm NVIDIA GPUs have been official, in the form of tenders for two new OEM cards: the NVIDIA GeForce G210 GT and GeForce 220th Both support DirectX 10.1, OpenGL 3.0 and CUDA, with the G210 with VGA, Display Port and DVI outputs, while the GT-220 has VGA, HDMI and DVI.

The GeForce G210 has 16 processor cores and a 589MHz CPU speed, which is coupled with 512 MB DDR2 memory with a 64-bit interface and 500 MHz clock frequency. The shader runs at 1402 MHz. As for the NVIDIA GeForce GT 220, that more than 48 processor cores and 615MHz clock frequency, coupled with 1 GB of GDDR3 memory with 790MHz clock and 128-bit interface. It has a slightly slower shader clock of 1,335 MHz.

Neither the map is assumed that directly to the consumer, but as an entry-level options in the pre-PC. Everyone has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1,600, no word if we have for sale.
